DIRECTOR OF MUSIC (Part Time)

First Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) of Clinton, South Carolina seeks a creative and inspiring individual to serve as Director of Music on a part-time basis.  This individual needs to be grounded in Christian faith and demonstrate a commitment to fellowship and service.  A college degree in music is preferable for this position, or equivalent work experience in church choral direction will be considered.

This position will be directly supervised by the Worship and Music Committee and the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church. The duties will include the development and supervision of the music program consisting of the adult choir and adult handbell choir.  The Director of Music is responsible for providing choir music at appropriate services and meetings of the church, and for developing creative and attractive programs of music and music education involving many church members and including children and youth.
