The Division of Education and Nurture (DEN) provides Presbytery-wide events and activities concerned with Christian education and congregational nurture for persons of all ages. 


In fulfilling its duties and responsibilities, the Division of Education and Nurture shall:

a.      develop Christian education curriculum and promote Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) curriculum.

b.      provide training in Church school administration.

c.      offer leader development training for teachers and church officers.

d.      provide ministries to children (including child care and child development programs), Mid-High and Senior High youth.

e.       sponsor family ministries and parenting skills.

f.       offer Adult ministries, including young adults, older adults, and single persons.

g.      furnish training on ministering to physically-challenged persons.

h.     provide training in Reformed worship.

i.       sponsor opportunities for spiritual renewal.

j.       work with the Educator Advocacy Committee of the Committee on Ministry to offer support for local church educators.


Any member in good standing in a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) congregation within the bounds of Trinity Presbytery, together with all Teaching Elders who are members of the Presbytery, shall be eligible for election to this committee.
