October 1 - Church Social - Woody Windham from Oldies 103.1 radio station will be spinning the discs at Lake Murray Community Center

October 2 - Children's Ministry begins at church office at 1722 Old Cherokee Rd., Lexington, SC from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. For more information call: 803-422-0049

October 16 - Cherokee Presbyterian moves to Harmon's Christmas Tree Farm.
Directions: US Highway 1, 1.5 miles west of Lexington High School

New Staff Member - Cherokee has found a new leader of worship and children's music, Tim McCaneny. Tim has years of musical experience in the church, so he will bring his gifts to us beginning in October!

Covered Dish Luncheon Date - September 25th will the covered dish luncheon. Bring at least two dishes, enough to serve your family and 2 other folks. Tea and paper products will be furnished. Enjoy a tasty, home-cooked meal while visiting with fellow members.
