Camp Fellowship

Sailing at Camp FellowshipCamp Fellowship is located on 133 acres of land in Laurens County, nestled on the north shore of Lake Greenwood. The Camp includes the adult conference center and 2 smaller cabins which are heated and cooled and provide a total of 51 beds. These facilities are rented year-round for conferences and retreats. Meals for groups of 15 - 100 are served in the dining room.

A dock separates the swimming area from the rest of the lake and also provides fishermen with a prime spot for enjoying hours of great fishing. Near the swimming area is a large picnic area with tables where groups enjoy church picnics or cookouts as well as corporate outings.

A large meeting building referred to as Fraser Chapel provides a spacious meeting room with a stage-area. The newest attraction in this building is the climbing wall which provides hours of fun for summer campers as well as retreat groups.

ClimbingIn another portion of the Camp Fellowship acreage are the cabins, bath-house, and "craft house" used primarily for the summer camp program. This ministry of Camp Fellowship brings together 300+ children between the ages of 6 and 15 years to enjoy traditional summer camps as well as the newer offerings, sailing camp, river run, and climbing wall camp; providing an exciting camp experience with Bible Study included in each day’s schedule. Summer counselors are college-age students who enjoy the outdoors and working with children and want an opportunity to develop their leadership skills.  Visit Camp Fellowship at their new website by clicking on:   Camp Fellowship

Conference centerThe Conference Center has 12 bedrooms with2 single beds and a private bath per room. The center meeting room has sofas and chairs with stone fireplace at one end and a conference table and chairs at the other end. The conference room accommodates 40 to 50 persons while the bedrooms accommodate 24. The microwave, small refrigerator, and coffeemaker make snack service for meetings possible. This is a year-round meeting facility. (Availability during the summer camping program is be determined by the camp program schedule.)

Retreat house and cabinThe Retreat House and Cabin provide additional lodging space for a large group using the Conference Center. They may also be rented by a group which prefers a more casual facility. The bedrooms are dorm-like with single beds. The Retreat House has 19 beds -- 8 in each of two bedrooms and 3 in the third. The Cabin has 8 beds with 4 in each of two bedrooms. These two buildings are perfect for youth or student groups. Both have meeting rooms and screened porches which overlook the lake.

Lakefront at Camp Fellowship

The Lakefront with Picnic Tables, Dock and Swimming Area provide recreation and meeting space for groups holding retreats or meetings in the Conference Center and Retreat House. Groups may rent this lakefront picnic area for day events. Swimming or canoeing must be scheduled in advance to be sure that lifeguards are available

Outdoor Chapel

The Outdoor Chapel provides a quiet setting for worship.

Cabins in the woodsCamp Fellowship Summer Campers enjoy Cabins in the Woods which have screened windows and bunk beds. Each cabin accommodates 8 - 10 campers and all are located near the bath house which has separate facilities for boys, and girls, and complete facilities for handicapped individuals. The large "screened" meeting room called the craft house and is ideal for "sheltered outdoor" meals, meetings or craft projects. Cooking grates have been built by Boy Scouts near each cabin. This outdoor camping facility is available to groups during the spring and fall months when camp is not in session.

To make reservations for your group retreat, picnic, or meeting at Camp Fellowship, call the office of Trinity Presbytery. For information on charges click on "Camp Fees". Groups who are affiliated with churches in Trinity Presbytery may schedule events at any time -- eight to twelve months in advance is recommended.
